How Kobe Creations Helped Stowers Establish a Robust eCommerce Presence with Seamless SAP Integration

The Challenge

Stowers, a leading supplier of packaging and materials handling solutions and a subsidiary of Pact Group, was expanding into eCommerce for the first time. However, with no preexisting digital infrastructure to build upon, they faced a challenge in establishing a strong digital presence while also streamlining their business operations. However, they recognised the potential for eCommerce to advance their customer reach, and to automate the tedious work of manually processing orders, invoices, and inventory updates and as such lower the risk of delays, inconsistencies, and human error.

Their new website needed to be designed and built from the ground up, while ensuring visual consistency with other Pact Group subsidiaries. The new digital style had to strike a careful balance making it clear that Stowers was both a strong, standalone brand and an integral part of the wider Pact Group. Fortunately, Kobe Creations has long been a trusted partner of their parent, Pact Group, bringing deep knowledge of their systems, brand standards, and business needs for a new website build and integration.

The Solution

Kobe Creations took a comprehensive approach to address Stowers' needs. We designed and developed a custom eCommerce website that adhered closely to the Pact Group’s brand guidelines and visual identity. These guidelines, implemented across all subsidiaries, ensured consistency in key elements such as the footer featuring the Pact Group logo, the use of the signature "Pact Blue" colour, approved font choices, as well as the overall homepage layout and logo placement.

Our team ensured that the eCommerce solution was not only user-friendly but also robust enough to handle the demands of Stowers’ customers. To achieve this, we focused on intuitive navigation, streamlined product discovery, and a responsive design that adapts seamlessly across devices. These elements are important when enhancing user experience, as they allow customers to find products effortlessly and complete purchases without unnecessary friction.​

We integrated the platform seamlessly with SAP, automating the synchronisation of purchases, invoices, and orders. This integration enabled Stowers to effortlessly send open order data to SAP for processing and receive corresponding SAP IDs back into the system. Additionally, we established automated processes for syncing product pricing and inventory levels, ensuring that product availability and pricing information remained accurate and up-to-date.​

The Result

With the new eCommerce platform in place, Stowers has enhanced its digital presence and is now able to offer a seamless shopping experience to its customers. The SAP integration has significantly improved internal efficiency by automating the flow of data, reducing manual errors, and ensuring real-time updates for orders, invoices, pricing, and inventory. As a result, Stowers can now focus more on growing its business while its systems work in harmony. Customer satisfaction has increased due to more accurate order processing and inventory management.
